What does the CCW do?

We are primarily a service organization, serving the parish, the community, the deanery, the diocese and the nation.  We have fundraising events, we have service events, and we have social events.  Each circle within the CCW has events as well.

When does CCW meet?

The CCW has board and general meetings during the day and in the evening (see the Calendar), and then the circles meet at different times of the month too (see Circle Activities)

What if I am too busy for another meeting?

Consider joining as a Member-at-large, which gives you the option of coming to the general meetings when you can, as well as participation in all our CCW events.

What does it cost?

CCW dues are a very reasonable $10 per year.

What is the difference between a "circle" and "the CCW"?

The SMM-CCW is made up of eight circles, plus the members-at-large.  Each circle meets at different times of the week and day, and each circle has their projects and events that make them unique.  Several times of the year we all come together for a specific event: Communion Breakfast, Fundraising event, Madonna Collection, Mini-Bazaar, etc.

Can men join the CCW?

Well…..if you really want to get more involved, we invite you to look at the SMM Men’s Club, which is a vibrant and busy organization at SMM.  The Men’s Club cooks the breakfast at our Communion Breakfast, runs the BBQ sandwich booth at the Community Fest, and oh-so-much more.

How many women are in the CCW?

Currently, we have almost 300 members.

How do I find out about other members?

Once you join a circle or as a member-at-large, you will be given a CCW Directory, which contains names and contact information on all SMM-CCW members.
