2008 Planning Process

As a parish, we are discerning God's will for us for the next five years.   Through a parish-wide consultative process, we are reexamining and discerning our mission as parish, our values, our vision and developing our goals, objectives and action steps.  Steering this effort is the Parish Futuring Team. We are sponsoring three retreats through 2008 to discern and develop our parish plan.  To meet the Futuring Team, to view draft of the plan, to give input on various aspects of the plan or to R.S.V.P. for the next retreat, please click on the items below.

Scriptural Reflection for our Planning Process:

"I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you, because of your sharing in the Gospel from the first day until now. I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to think this way about all of you, for all of you share in God's grace with me, in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel. And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight to help you to determine what is best, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless, having produced the harvest of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God."

You are invited to attend our Parish Planning Process Retreat
Phase II: St. Mary Magdalen Parish Life Center

• On Friday, September 12 from 5:00pm to 9:30pm (dinner at 6pm)
• On Saturday, September 13 from 8:30am to 12:30pm (Breakfast at 8:00am).

Come to part or all of it. We would like to hear your voice. This is one of the planning process retreats throughout 2008. You are invited to attend all or any portion of all the Retreats.

Dates of the Three Parish Planning Process Retreats:

• September 12th & 13th (from 5:00pm to 9:30pm, Saturday from 8:30am to 12:30pm) in the Parish Life Center
• October 24th & 25th (from 5:00pm to 9:30pm, Saturday from 8:30am to 12:30pm) in the Parish Life Center

All we ask is that you R.S.V.P. the parish office to let us when you will be attending on September 12th & 13th. Deadline is Sunday, September 7th. Register here! There is no cost to attend but your willing spirit!
