National Eucharistic Revival
An invitation from Fr. Charlie Mitchell, Pastor:
The Bishops of the United States announce the National Eucharistic Revival, 2022-2025, to renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
As Eucharistic people we know and believe that this Sacrament is the very “source and summit of our faith.” And so, we at Saint Mary Magdalen, feel the historic significance of this National Eucharistic Revival that begins Corpus Christi Sunday 2022, and intend to fully participate in it.
We will share with you the invitations of our own Bishop John Noonan for the Year of Diocesan Revival – and I invite you to come celebrate the Eucharist with us and be renewed at our celebrations of Sunday Mass and daily Mass and our days of Adoration and special Holy Hours.
Let’s take this opportunity to grow in our understanding and participation in this great Sacrament, and to be ambassadors of its grace as we prepare for the Year of Parish Revival starting June 2023.
